Where the trucks go: Surprise and the whole West Valley

Home base is Surprise, from the Original Town Site on Grand Avenue to the newest streets past Loop 303. From there the service area runs east through El Mirage and Youngtown to the Sun Cities and Peoria, across the 101 into west Glendale, and south through Litchfield Park to Goodyear, Avondale and Buckeye.

Surprise, street by street

The city grew in rings. The Original Town Site and the streets around Dysart and Grand Avenue carry the oldest doors, some from the 1960s. Sun City Grand, Del Webb's 55-plus community from the late 1990s, is a dense grid of two-car and golf-cart doors that open all day. Marley Park, Sierra Montana, Rancho Gabriela, Surprise Farms, Greer Ranch and the subdivisions along Bell Road and Waddell Road were built in the 2000s boom on insulated doors with belt-drive openers, now hitting their first spring and board failures. West of Loop 303 toward the White Tank Mountains, the newest streets are still under warranty and already calling about photo-eyes knocked out of line during move-in.

Youngtown, Waddell, Wittmann or Tolleson? They are inside the service area too. Call and the dispatcher will tell you straight whether a technician can be there today.

Heard the bang? Door hanging crooked? Opener gone quiet?

Tell us what you see and a technician calls back to set a time, usually today. Parts and labor are written down before the work starts, and a quote on a replacement door costs nothing.
